Wing Chun Kung Fu

Hoi Fa Siu Lum · Foshan Lineage

Economy of Motion,
Elevated to Art.

Close-range precision passed down through a secretive lineage. Speed over strength. Structure over chaos. Wing Chun is a system designed for the few who are willing to understand it.

The Foundation

Three Governing Principles

01

Centerline Theory

All attacks and defenses are oriented along a single vertical axis — the centerline. Control it and you control the fight. Wing Chun's entire offensive and defensive logic flows from this deceptively simple concept.

02

Simultaneous Attack & Defense

Unlike systems that block then strike, Wing Chun merges the two into one motion. Every defensive action becomes an offensive one. There is no wasted movement, no wasted time.

03

Structure Over Strength

Wing Chun does not rely on muscular force. Skeletal alignment and relaxed tension allow even a smaller practitioner to redirect and neutralize far greater power — the hallmark of a thinking fighter.

The Curriculum

Forms & Training Methods

Wing Chun's curriculum is compact by design. Every form carries layers of meaning that deepen with years of dedicated practice.

Siu Nim Tao

Little Idea

小念頭

The foundation of everything. A slow, meditative form that trains the practitioner to develop correct structure, economy of motion, and internal force from a state of complete stillness.

Chum Kiu

Seeking the Bridge

尋橋

The bridge between stillness and movement. Introduces footwork, turning, and the art of connecting — seeking the opponent's limbs to neutralize and control at close range.

Biu Jee

Thrusting Fingers

鏢指

The emergency form. Techniques kept secret within the lineage — methods to recover from a compromised position, break free, and deliver devastating finishing strikes.

Muk Yan Jong

Wooden Dummy

木人樁

The iconic training apparatus of Wing Chun. Over 100 techniques applied against a solid wooden form — building reflexes, timing, and the tactile sensitivity known as Chi Sau.

Heritage & Transmission

The Lineage

Wing Chun's knowledge has been transmitted directly from teacher to student for centuries. Every practitioner carries this unbroken chain.
